    Júlia Arquillo and the baroque quartet @oblica.ensemble participated in the Vantaa Baroque Festival in "The Night of the Arts" by candlelight. It was an extraordinary concert in the church of Tikkurila, in which all the composers in the program were Catalan.

    Júlia Arquillo and Fanny Henn under the baton of Mateusz Gwizdałła, will perform this iconic oratorio by Pergolesi with a chamber orchestra provided with period instruments. The work will be performed in the original tone (415Hz).

    This is a very special modern oratorio for choir, orchestra and soloists. It was composed by M. Tippet between 1939 and 41, when the IIWW was casting a huge shadow on many people's lives. Júlia Arquillo will be one of the soprano soloists.

    Last May, the members of the Opera Ensemble 2021-23 performed a Bel Canto-themed concert at the Oulu Music Center. The soprano Júlia Arquillo performed pieces such as "Eccomi, in lieta vesta" by V. Bellini and also the first scene of the opera La Cenerentola by G. Rossini.
